It's been a very, very long time isn't?

I know I've said in the previous post that I will do review more often and yet, *sigh* I failed.

Pardon me, I have been experiencing lots of issues that caused me unable to promptly provide reviews! D:

Anyway, I have bigger plans ahead and yes, I do have lots of items to be review!

It may not be the latest sensation or latest products, but hey, little review helps a lot of people decides isn't? 

For today's one is my HOLY GRAIL liquid eyeliner!

I personally prefer this compared to pencil eyeliner or gel liner.

I'll let you know why later on :)

I have been using this eyeliner since 2014 and I have never regretted it ever since. Trust me this is only my second purchase, and I have been using it almost every day!

Amazing how long it can last isn't?

The point brush tip is such a LOVE!

It's soo sharp and minimalistic that made me so in love with it.

I personally find these kind of point tips are so much easier to use because it can actually help you define your eyeliner shape.

I don't like to use pencil eyeliner because it tends to smudge easily (yes, even when it stated it won't smudge easily)

For gel liner, meh, I find it easily harden, and made it so difficult to apply after certain period of time as the brush and the pot tends to dry up.

Well, maybe it's just me or maybe it's because I didn't care for it properly LOL

Anyway, thumbs up for this eyeliner.

This is the swatch colour of the eyeliner :D

How pretty it is? Hehe.

Well, I prefer brown in compared to black because black tends to make my eyes looks fierce somehow. Thus, brown is the better choice for me as it made my eyes look dainty :D

This is how it looks like on my eyes!

I wore this during the day and it stays on all day long without smudges or fade

(except if you're crying!)

So, in conclusion, this is something worth the shot, I mean compared to KatVonD Tattoo Ink Liner and Stila Eyeliner, this is a good choice. Why?

Because I found out that KatVonD's eyeliner was made in Korea and Stila's made in Japan.

Prove that Asian made eyeliner is the best :P

Furthermore,

It's 50% way cheaper too!

This KOJI Dolly Wink Eyeliner are retailed for RM58.90 in SASA Malaysia but I bought it during sales for just RM49!

Well. That's a bargain I tell you :D

HOWEVER!

Careful with the counterfeit version!

The counterfeit version is using the old packaging!

And it's sold as cheap as RM10!

Thus, only buy it from an authorised reseller!

Pro:

+ Does what it stated

+ Waterproof

+ Smudge proof

+ Affordable

+ Long Lasting

+ Easy to use

Con:

- Tend to disappear when you crying?!

- Hard to find as it available only in SASA and Watsons (some not all)

Hi everyone!

It's been a while since I last update and did my review.

I was pretty much occupied with a huge event that happened recently that caused me to be unavailable to update my beauty review promptly.

Here's a quick review I would like to share on my recent purchase!

It's the Mario Badescu Skincare Facial Spray with Aloe, Herbs and Rosewater!

Oh my goodness, such a long name!

Well, I first heard about this facial spray on review on Sephora site as an amazing setting spray!

So I was like "Oh that sounds like an alternative!" and a cheaper one since I am currently using the Urban Decay Setting Spray and it's pretty much cheaper in price!

So I've tried for 3 days now and, no, not as a setting spray but as a facial spray and it does do wonders as it stated~

"A refreshing, hydrating mist to use anywhere anytime. Simply formulated with fragrant Herbal Extracts and Rosewater for a pleasant, pick me up for dehydrated, tight and uncomfortable skin. Spray your day and night creams for a boost of hydration or use it to set make-up or spray on dry hair throughout the day. Safe for all skin types. Gentle, non-irritating."

I mean it's getting pretty hot lately and this really help me a lot in maintaining my moisture level :)

It's retailed for less than MYR50 which means it is so goood to travel with.

However, I realized that frequent usage of it tends to caused a little rashes on me.

Maybe it's just due to my skin condition or the weather.

Hmm.

Today I would like to share a review on 

La Splash Cosmetics Velvetmatte Liquid Lipstick collab By LauraG <3

This is something I ordered few months back and only managed to share it today due to occupied moments back then :)

I have to admit, these collections are seductive and gorgeous.

I bought two shades to have a try, which is the Exposed and also the Irresistible.
(I love NUDE SHADE in case you guys wondering)

I find the packaging is really cute and cheeky at the same time. I mean it's like teasing you in a sexy way. Or maybe it's just me :p

However, I don't like the safety seals because apparently the glue stuck to the lip cap and left an uncomfortable feels and look. You'll know what I mean when you get one yourself.

The texture upon application was just the BEST!
I mean I have other variety of Matte Liquid Lipstick but I have to admit this one has the longest staying power compared to all my other collection.

It doesn't even budge when you eat or drink!
How cool is that xD

I'm having Irresistible on my lip!

I have to say that this matte liquid lipstick is something you gotta try. It's really smooth and long lasting!

Before that,
I bought this lipstick via Doll's Kill and they had free shipping at that time!

Hello.

Recently I was invited to Nudestix Meet & Greet located at Sephora Starhill, Kuala Lumpur.

If you haven't heard of this brand, it's the new leading brand that emphasize on the minimalism of cosmetics.

This was the third time Ally & Taylor came down Malaysia and I was grateful to have been given opportunity in meeting up with them. They were very friendly and also funny. Like seriously!

They share on about the humble beginning of Nudestix and how it started and also the products that they have. I have to admit, I'm impressed.

Previously I have only known their Nudestix Intense Matte Lip & Cheek Pencil but I have found out that their Mascara are to die for too!

Basically the mascara is available in two types: Waterproof & Non-waterproof.

It's really shows what a mascara can do, I mean it literally did what it supposed to do haha!

I really love the non-waterproof one but I was reluctant to get one because I still have my Eyeko Mascara. Maybe I'd get one when mine finishes :)

The even lasted for one hour and a half and we all had a good laugh while learning how to do our make up simple & clean way.

Ally taught us how to do a "quickie" makeup in just 3 minutes! Daym girl!

She practically few products to complete it!

Best Part?

You can fit all these in the Travel Kit Tin that came along when you purchase the product :D

How cool is that?

I mean it's really practical and convenient as it doesn't come in liquid form and you frankly doesn't have to worry if your product spills duh :p

So you don't have to decide which is cheaper but you have to decide which is priority!

Today I'm going to share about my current favourite blush palette <3

It's the Zoeva Coral Spectrum Blush Palette!

It was from the Spectrum Range and I am totally in love with it at first sight.

The moment it hit on Sephora, I immediately grabbed it and I had no regrets.

Good for me coz the palette sold out after a while :p

(Well, they restocked it already, okay?)

Once I opened it, gosh, it was really pretty.

The blush palette was aligned really neat next to each other and the hologram streak compliments the palette well.

I have to admit the packaging really made me fall in love deeper with it.

Haha.

I purchased the Coral Palette so it has more subtle tones that is brownish/pink. Basically in my opinion, this one has the combination of both the other palette's shades because the Pink Palette has more pinks and Nude Palette only consist of nude shades like beige-brown. So, if you want something that has the best of both palettes, here's your shot on trying Zoeva Spectrum Blush Palette.

From my experience, I find these colours are really pigmented and long lasting.

I tried swatches every colours and it was really good!

From my past experience, some blushers I had was not so pigmented so I had to swipe a few times to get the shades but with Zoeva, I can just swipe max twice for each time of usage.

The colours was really great for everyday and special occasions too.

Not to forget, the size for the palette box was as big as a CD pack :D hehe

In case any of you wondering about it though.

If you love blushers, I really recommend you get one of this, provided you able to purchase it though :)

Pro:

+ Gorgeous Packaging

+Pigmented shades and lovely colours

+Good for those who wanted nude and pinkish tones

+Size wise were bigger than usual blush palette which an A+ for me

+ Affordable

Con:

- I think it's a little too big for travelling though haha

Today I'm gonna share about my favourite drugstore brand;

Catrice Cosmetics!

Okay, I am not the type to actually wear liquid foundation on daily basis. 

Usually I would just use some concealer to conceal my flaws and dab some powder.

That's it.

However, lately I realized that using a concealer would cost me more.

 (due to it's small size -.-)

Thus, I have opt to find a good foundation to cover my flaws and imperfections.

I know it may sound weird like

"This girl don't wear foundation??"

Or maybe not.

Haha.

So, here's my honest review on this product. It took me some time to actually decide on whether to get this or a high end foundation. I thought I may give it a shot though and I have no regret :p

Alright,

here's the details of this lovely foundation!

Catrice's Even Skin Tone Beautifying Foundation

So this is how it looks like upon application on my hand.

The texture is not too watery like some foundation I've tried before and it is easy to blend which is great!

It was able to cover up my bruises mark!

Gosh! Haha!

I'm sorry if I'm being funny here but I guess the bruises mark can be a point to show how cool this drugstore brand is isn't? :p

Okay to be honest, you may not be able to see it clearly here but, when you blend it, it's slightly tinted. Or that's how I feels. It's kinda like give your skin a "glowy and dewy" look :D

This is how it looks like on my skin.

I only put  the foundation and a dab of powder to mattify the skin.

Love how it helps in reducing the redness and covering my thread veins on my face.

(Yes, I have a thread veins -- not a major one but minor)

This foundation does not gives a full coverage but more for light to medium coverage which suits me.

If you looking for a heavy coverage, I suggest Too Faced Born This Way Foundation. It provides a full coverage!

So far I am loving this Catrice Foundation!

Pro:

+ Affordable Drugstore Brands

+ Great light to medium coverage

+ Easy to blend

+ Not too watery

+ Great texture

Cons:

- Not suitable for full coverage

- Hard to find in Malaysia Drugstore shops

This palette is just so freaking amazing and I am still loving it!

So, why do I state it's a HOLY GRAIL for me?

Here's how I maximized the benefit of this palette.

I basically use:

Bow - For the inner corner of my eyes to brighten the eyes.

Ribbon / Pamper - Act as blushes on cheeks. Works really well! Like really suits fair skin!

The Mail / Boxed - As my everyday eye shadows, gives that natural nude everyday look.

Wrapped Up - I used this shade to fill up my eyebrows. Since the colour is really pigmented, it able to cover well without having to actually buy an eyebrow applicator.

The rest of the metalic colours can be used for dinner night or special function!

It's amazing how things can be done in a single palette isn't?

It is extremely affordable where it retailed at RM12.90 per piece!

Can you believe it? OMG! *cringe*

It stated there it is a lipgloss, but more like a matte lip cream, in my opinion.

How amazing is thaaaaat!

Personally speaking, I would say this lip cream is worth the value for those who are not willing to spend much on a lipstick.

You can get the 99% similar shade with just way way much cheaper value!

In conclusion,

If you really want to give a try on MAC's Velvet Teddy Matte Lipstick but doesn't want to actually purchase the actual product, you can always purchase this lipgloss.

I'm not sure if it is available in your country but if it does, do give it a shot! :)

Pro:

+ Smooth texture when applied!

+ Does not dry out your lips!
