So, something looks very similar eh?

No it's not the Kylie Matte Liquid Lipstick

BUT

It's a dupe.

It's actually a local brand made in Malaysia, which emphasize on creating a more affordable brand of  the famous Kylie Jenner's Lip Kit products.

Here, a glimpse of their website look and feel

It had been a rage on how they actually able to "copy" almost similar packaging and looks!

I wonder if the texture would be as similar as the original one's though.

When they announced the product, it was priced at RM66 excluding postage, okay.

I find it rather pricey and expensive for a locally made product.

Why?

Simple. Let me give you set of lipstick / liquid lipstick of several well-known brands:

1) Mac Lipstick - RM74

2) Tarteist Lip Paint Liquid Lipstick - RM83

3) Ciate London Velvet Matte Liquid Lipstick - RM60

4) NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream - RM30

5) Colourpop Ultra Matte Liquid Lipstick - RM40

So you get the point of my message?

I had a feeling they want to priced their products at that level because probably the cost of producing the lip cream are outsourced from outside and they a fee on that, also the packaging seems like it's rather costly with all the boxes and thank you card attached. Not to forget, they want to keep some profit for themselves too. Well, that's briefly explained the price of the liquid lipstick, I'd say :p

I was in doubt in purchasing the lip products because I keep thinking, is it really worth the money?

However, doubt or not, I finally placed an order on two of the lip item.

1) Dolce K x 1

2) Koko K x 1

Unfortunately,

Something really unfortunate occured.

The delivery that was supposed to happen did not happen.

Here's what I got from them after silence for almost a week.



*there is a complimentary coupon code but I don't find it appropriate to share for those who did not had this problem, sorry*

When I received this, I was very upset because I was hoping the delivery was already on its way and tracking number was the thing I supposed to receive.

Had to express my disappointment to them and I opt for a refund. C'mon, waiting for about two weeks for a lipstick that was supposed to be ready ain't fun okay :(

I am so glad they provided attentive response and responsible towards their act.


Fortunately I have received my refunds total of RM139 after few days, which is today.

I am disappointed with what happened because to be honest, there are other cosmetic company in Malaysia that has been releasing their product successfully.

For example,

Velvet Vanity

Fame Cosmetics

Sugarbelle Cosmetics

 I hope they do well in the future and such incident would never occur again.
Maybe I will try to buy again one day, when their company is more well establish and the name is more strong.

Please take note I am not trying to pull down the company of making them look bad intentionally.
I wrote this based on my personal experience and honest feelings.
People make mistakes, yes, but when you are dealing with huge markets, I believe such incidents cannot be compromise.
That's is how you kept words to "great quality"

Greetings first!

Today's my review will be on Benefit's Benetint Lip Tint.

I know this product is already on the market for so long but now only I had the chance to review it.

I love lip tint but was in doubt of getting one as I'm not sure on how to tint my lip well.

I always ended up making it look like it's bleeding. Haha!

Okay, let's get back to the main point.

So, here's the Benefit Benetint Lip Tint

What it claims to be is that 

"Our original rose-tinted stain is kiss-proof, see-through color for lips & cheeks that lasts for hours. Originally created for an exotic dancer in the 1970s, benetint has soared to cult fave status. It's loved by celebs, makeup artists and gals around the world. Sheer & sexy on all complexions Innocent yet provocative Long-lasting wear"

Mine comes in 4ml size. Cute eh?

Actually it's good enough for my consumption as I'm not using much of it.

So here comes my review. 

This size of Benetint is very very practical for travelling, like seriously! Haha

Also, the product has a good smell too!

Texture wise, I kinda feel it's not so pigmented.

Or maybe it's just me.

I ended up using it as my cheek blush tint. Hehe, well, it works better that way, for me.

And I am happy for it!

It is extremely affordable where it retailed at RM12.90 per piece!

Can you believe it? OMG! *cringe*

It stated there it is a lipgloss, but more like a matte lip cream, in my opinion.

How amazing is thaaaaat!

Personally speaking, I would say this lip cream is worth the value for those who are not willing to spend much on a lipstick.

You can get the 99% similar shade with just way way much cheaper value!

In conclusion,

If you really want to give a try on MAC's Velvet Teddy Matte Lipstick but doesn't want to actually purchase the actual product, you can always purchase this lipgloss.

I'm not sure if it is available in your country but if it does, do give it a shot! :)

Pro:

+ Good for value!

+ Dupe for MACs Velvet Teddy!

+ Smooth texture when applied!

+ Does not dry out your lips!

+ Smells really GOOD too!

Con:

- Does not last long lips, as the formula is not transfer proof

- Hard to get as it tend to sold out so fast

So I think this is like any other ordinary lipstick

But!

With an extra-ordinary price!

You'd be amazed at what price this lipstick is at.

Based on the raved about it, shown below is the promotional picture of this gorgeous lippie.

However, the one I chose was

Like:
+ It's freaking affordable with only just RM8.00!
+ Smells good and buttery
+ It's matte as it claimed to be

Dislike:
- Very drying. I suggest you to put lip balm before applying this lipstick.
- Hard to apply. Since its dry and matte, which makes it awkwardly hard to smudge on ya lips ladies.

Okay,
I heard the rage,
Tried the items,
But,
I guess not everything is perfect.

So, I can say that, I may not purchase this product again,
perhaps,
it just don't suit my lips.
