REVIEW: Makeup Revolution Velvet Matte Lip Lacquer

9:50 PM

Recently, I have ordered a new lippies from a brand which is quite a rave recently.
Perhaps because the brand is newly established.

"Makeup Revolution launched in London in March 2014 delivering revolutionary performance and quality, in every product at revolutionary prices. Made with the finest ingredients, the range starts at an amazing RM 8, with a range of professional and must have products with limited edition collections – you can finally afford them all!

Born of passion …watch out makeup world..
The Makeup Revolution has begun"

Apparently, this brand is a dupe of expensive brands which in a good way, they provide you a quality make up items that up to the standard of a luxury brand of make up!
Isn't amazing?
I'm completely fall in love the moment I received the items!
The packaging itself is really exclusive.

The one I purchased were What I Believe and Rebel (not in the above picture).

Price: RM 24.00

Product Content: 2ml

Made in Taiwan

Product Claim to be:

"This is your salvation to get perfect matte lips that are touch proof. A long lasting lip gloss that goes on as a liquid and dries to a highly pigmented, bold matte finish which stays in place for hours!"

I am wearing Makeup Revolution
Velvet Matte Lip Lacquer in Rebel

+ Really, really thick in texture and yes, its really MATTE!
+ Beautiful design
+ Reasonable price (comparable to NYX and REVLON in terms of price)
+ Smells good

- Hard to remove the colour (really stick to your lips!)
+ Doesn't last long on your lips; if you eat or drink your colour will start to distort
+ Some colour is very drying (for me)

In my opinion, purchasing the Rebel is not a bad bargain but I feel the What I believe is kinda drying to my lips. I worn it out and I realized the colour faded easily after a few meals and caused my lips to look as if I had smudge a crayon on my lips.

Perhaps it'll look better on you instead?
I will purchase the product again, but probably the dark colours only.
